Brescia University is closely monitoring the novel coronavirus (referred to here at COVID-19) that was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, 中国. This virus has spread to several countries, including the United States, and to many states within the country, 包括肯塔基州. As the Brescia community is effected by this virus, resources and updates will be made available on this page and updated frequently as the situation evolves.
The safety of Brescia 学生, 教师, and staff while minimizing the disruption to the student experience is always the University’s highest priority.
PANDEMIC RESPONSE TEAM
As outlined in the University Pandemic Response plan, a team was assembled at the onset of this situation to monitor COVID-19 as it effects our 学生, 教职员工. 这个响应小组, led by the Chief of 工作人员, includes the Vice President for Student Affairs, Senior Vice President for Financial Affairs, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Director of Human 资源, Director of Public Relations, Assistant Dean of Students for Resident Life, Director of Maintenance, Director of Housekeeping, Director of Information Technology, and the Director of 餐厅 Services. 参谋长, along with this team, will coordinate the University’s response across all campus constituencies.

You can take several steps to keep yourself safe and stay informed.
In the residence halls:
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth which are transmission points for germs.
- Wash your hands with soap and water often and thoroughly. You may also use alcohol based sanitizers.
- Wash your hands before you eat.
- Don’t go to class if you are ill.
- If you get sick, if possible go home. If you can’t go home, notify 居住生活.
Faculty, 工作人员 and Administrators
